In Cape Town with our Ladies

16.1.14 – Thursday – A day after our arrival into Cape Town port and the Royal Cape Yacht Club, the 2014 Cape to Rio race was started and was caught in extreme weather which caused one fatality and a few injuries. Out of 36 entries ten retired and sought refuge in Saldanha bay and Cape Town. In port winds reached fantastic figures. Dany took this picture.

A lot of time was spent on various maintenance projects.

On January 10th our ladies flew in.

We planned a lot of tours in and around the Cape Town area, including a walk on Table mountain, a trip to the Cape of Good Hope and an overnight safari in a game reserve named Inverdoorn.

Here’s a few pictures the "Two Oceans" photo crew took. I’ll put a lot more on Dropbox when I get the chance to install it.
